We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Software Category’ in the ITSPA Awards, 2020. Our developers and tech team have been hard at work, producing one of the most innovative VoIP phone systems on the market. We’re over the moon to have once again, received outside recognition for our efforts.
Since it’s the first and failed attempt to set up a VoIP phone system way back in 2006, the team at byphone have been passionately challenging the market place for nearly 20 years to provide an innovative hosted solution. As the trials and tribulations carried on throughout the years, we moved a little closer to making our vision a reality. Thankfully, over two years ago, we conceptualised our dreams and brought the world our first software-led, hosted phone system.
A lot has changed over those two years; new & added improvements to our operating system, improved user experience and a new addition to our ‘byfamily’, byroute. Our parent company, Voxbit, promise that all our products revolve around the importance of voice on your network. Thus, our tagline, ‘where voice meets data’ was born. We believe that our combined efforts over the last two years have raised us to a new level in the VoIP market. We have stood firm against major corporate competitors to show that a small team from Northern Ireland can trade against the largest of telecoms companies.
This award comes from the combined efforts of everyone in the Voxbit team, right through from the developers to the front line customer service team. All members are essential components in making our software what it is today. Without them, byphone wouldn’t be the loved and revered product that it currently is. It comes off the back of a record-breaking 2019 where we received various outside recognition from a host of industry-leading establishments.
Our head of business development, James Wells, commented on our recent acknowledgement from ITSPA, ‘Our software impresses again, against some of the giants in the telecoms space. We’re overjoyed to have once again been recognised by some of the leading names in the industry. I know how hard our team works to continually innovate and improve cloud communications and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2020 holds for byphone and Voxbit. Let’s hope we bring home the win.’
This good news comes as great delight and surprise. Our team has gone through trials and tribulations of producing a product we feel matches our ambitions, and we take great pride in knowing our efforts have not gone unnoticed. Well done to everyone involved!
The ITSPA Awards are designed to celebrate innovation, and best practice within the sector and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 5th October at SeaContainers in London.
