Since launching just 18 months ago in the UK, byphone has witnessed huge success with customers and partners Nationwide.
Our success has now extended to recognition by the Comms Business Awards – the most prestigious and sought after accolades in communications, IT and the mobile channel – being shortlisted in not one but two categories.
byphone, a VoIP system that significantly improves inbound and outbound call handling for businesses, has been shortlisted in the Hosted Platform Supplier category alongside global leaders in the field.
Voxbit, a subsidiary of Clarity Telecom and the team behind the development of byphone, has also been shortlisted in the Ones to Watch category.
James Wells, Head of Channel Sales at Voxbit which develops internet communications services, said:
“To be shortlisted for two Comms Business Awards is an incredible achievement, particularly as we are the only Northern Ireland company to progress to the shortlist.
“byphone ultimately provides businesses with more control over their communications by visualising the call flow. With insight into when calls are being made, how many calls are going unanswered and who is using the phones, organisations can identify where improvements can be made to ensure a consistent service to customers.
“Having launched byphone just 18 months ago, the traction we have gained across the UK amongst both end-users and resellers proves we have a product that meets the needs of the market and simplifies VoIP for all.
“Voxbit is led by a team of extremely talented engineers and with more product development in the pipeline, we are excited for what the future holds and the role we can play in improving telecommunications for businesses.”
Current byphone users include Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Action Cancer and RSM. For the most part, byphone’s success has been through the on-boarding of IT / Telecoms organisations as resellers and partners across the UK. The market disrupting VoIP software has been a huge hit within the communications arena, with circa 10 / 12 new partners joining the ever growing byphone partner channel monthly, covering fast territory from Aberdeen to the South of England.
Managing Director of Code 56 Limited, a byphone partner, said:
“It’s how the system has been built from the ground up, but how you go to use the system. When you are setting up a new environment or making changes to your current one it’s drag and drop, paint and done. Really. There’s no having to faff around, there’s no having to learn complex terminology.”
Editor of Comms Business Magazine, David Dungay, said:
“Now in its 15th year the Comms Business Awards has continually rewarded forward thinking and progressive Channel businesses.
“This strict process has been fundamental in making the awards one of the most anticipated events of the year and our winners receive enormous respect with an award which holds true value.”
